Our lives, the way we work, and workspaces have changed in the last two years.
Covid has been an important accelerator of agile work and has led many companies to rely on smart working, or working from home, for the first time in their lives: in the past it was implemented by 13% of companies, today, after the health emergency, only 4% have never implemented it.
There have been many changes and there will be many more in the coming months and years. There are many companies that are activating a ‘hybrid’ work system in which the ideal week is divided into days in the company and days from home.
All this necessarily affects workplaces, which must be designed and structured to meet the new needs and ensure maximum flexibility.
There is therefore a need for a new way of designing offices. We asked those who design workspaces every day what they think that new way will be.
In this video, five designers, Giovanni Giacobone (Progetto CMR), Claudio Barborini (Barreca&Lavarra Studio), Folco Orlandini (Orlandini Studio), Giorgio Totino (Twister Studio) and Mauro Pizzi (967 Arch) answered our question, sharing their vision and their ideas with us.
Happy watching!
