The historic company specializing in the production of office furniture and systems showed to the public its new exhibition space near Corso Buenos Aires
Lots of news this September for Las, a historic company specializing in the production of office furniture and systems. The most important being the inauguration of the new showroom in the centre of Milan.
‘We are very happy to have inaugurated this space,’ said Marcello Pedicone, CEO of Las, during the opening ceremony. ‘It was nice to be together again, after such a long time. We want this not only to be a place to exhibit our products, but to become a catalyst of knowledge where we welcome and host customers, friends, and collaborators.’
The smart office
The beautiful building, which even has a charming internal courtyard, is in Via Giorgio Jan 6, near Corso Buenos Aires; in the past it was an industrial space used as a workshop for vintage cars, which was then turned into a fashion atelier. Today it has been redesigned and set up to welcome the new Las products, in particular those dedicated to the smart office and part of Las Digital Solution, the management system for the next generation agile office.
They are products integrated with IOT technology concerning the booking of workstations and meeting rooms, air quality monitoring, and occupancy flow management.
The new products
The inauguration of the new exhibition space was an opportunity to present to the public the new Las products, made in collaboration with important design studios such as Orlandini Design, D+A, and 967 Arch, who have created new collections with the common goal of meeting the various contemporary needs, facilitating the change in the way of working in the office.
Among these is Divo by the Orlandini Design studio, a seating system that expresses and concretizes the evolution of the modular waiting chair. It does so with modular elements that can be combined in various ways, high and low backrests to ensure different levels of privacy, and various types of support surfaces.
Architect Paolo Pampanoni of the D+A studio has designed OXI Color, a sober collection for operatives in which colour characterizes the compositional modules and the environments in which they are placed.
Modular tables with wheels, sound-absorbing panels that separate and furnish at the same time, perfectly wired workstations for group work in which separation and protection are guaranteed by transparent glass screens: all this and much more can be found in Fil Rouge, the Las collection designed by 967 Arch.
‘The inauguration of our new showroom was a wonderful moment of sharing with partners and friends,’ said Gianluca Catanese, Commercial Director of Las, ‘the first of an important series of events that will take place right in this space. The operational base of a renewed internationalization process that, starting from Milan, will redefine new commercial scenarios for the company.’
Events and news
Over the next few days, the showroom will host some events aimed at architects and professionals in the sector which will be an opportunity to show the new catalogues and two new web portals, the company website and a magazine, currently being published.
